Welcome to LandSpace. By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to the following terms.

1. What LandSpace Is

LandSpace is a listing platform that connects students looking for off-campus housing with independent landlords. LandSpace does not own, manage, inspect, or guarantee any property listed on the platform. We are a connection service, not a party to any rental agreement.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. LandSpace is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your own negligence.

3. Landlord Listings

Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including photos, pricing, and descriptions. LandSpace does not independently verify the physical condition, ownership, or legal status of any listed property.

4. Payments

Payments made through LandSpace (such as the contact-unlock fee) are processed via Paystack, a licensed third-party payment processor. LandSpace does not store your card details. All payments for the contact-unlock fee are non-refundable once the contact information has been revealed, except where required by law.

5. Identity Verification

LandSpace may display a "Verified" badge on landlord profiles based on manual review of submitted identification documents. A "Verified" badge indicates that LandSpace has reviewed the submitted identification but does not guarantee the legitimacy of the property, the landlord's ownership of it, or the outcome of any transaction.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use LandSpace to post false listings, harass other users, or attempt to circumvent the platform's payment system. LandSpace reserves the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

LandSpace is provided "as is." We are not responsible for disputes, losses, damages, or fraud arising from interactions or transactions between students and landlords conducted outside or as a result of using this platform. Users are encouraged to exercise their own judgment, verify properties in person, and use caution before making any payments to landlords directly.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LandSpace after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
