David Okonkwo is a 20 year old entrepreneur and self taught technologist based in Nigeria, with a deep rooted belief that technology should solve real, everyday problems, not just impressive ones. Before founding LandSpace, David spent years building across multiple fields: hands on laptop hardware repair and engineering, active trading in the Nigerian stock market and forex markets, and hands on product development, all while sharpening an instinct for spotting inefficiencies that others simply accept as "the way things are."

The idea for LandSpace was born from a problem David saw repeated again and again: students searching for off campus housing were left navigating unverified agents, wasted trips to properties that didn't match what they were promised, and a general lack of transparency around pricing and landlord legitimacy. It was a broken system that quietly cost students time, money, and trust, and David set out to fix it directly.

LandSpace is his answer: a platform that connects students directly with real, verified landlords, no agents, no middlemen, no unnecessary wahala. Every feature, from identity verification to transparent contact unlocking, was built with one goal in mind, making the housing search process something students can actually trust.

David is currently building LandSpace from the ground up while preparing to begin university, driven by a long term vision of building platforms that create real, lasting value for the people who use them.
